What is a Throttle Controller

A Throttle Controller is simply an electronic device designed to improve your driving experience by enhancing your vehicles throttle response. It plugs into the accelerator pedal and intercepts the signal before it gets to the vehicle's ECU, allowing you to change the throttle sensitivity depending on your driving style.

Compatability with my vehicle

Most vehicles built after the mid 2000's will have a Fly-By-Wire accelerator pedal (ie no physical throttle cable from the pedal to the engine) and will be suitable for a Throttle Controller. Each Throttle Controller has a vehicle specific harness and throttle tuning. 

Can i fit a Throttle Controller myself

YES. Installing a Throttle Controller is the easiest DIY thing you can do to your vehicle. Simply remove the factory plug on your accelerator pedal, plug the Throttle Controller plug adaptor between the factory plugs and find somewhere to stick the control unit on your dashboard and you are basically done.

Choosing the right Throttle Controller
