Want more Power & Torque from your Next Gen Ford Ranger V6 Turbo Diesel?

Who doesn't love a bit more Power & Torque? Whether it's for towing, 4wding or just the daily commute, having more power and torque will improve your engine's responsiveness and reduce turbo lag.

At the heart of the Sinister Power & Torque Combo for the Next Gen Ford Ranger V6 is a 3" Sinister Exhaust combined with a Diesel Tuning Module from DP Chip which will achieve around 20%+ increase in Power and Torque.  If you tow a big caravan or trailer often then you can add a aftermarket Intercooler and Transmission Cooler from HPD to keep those intake & Transmission temps down. If you want to create the Ultimate Combo, you can also choose to add a Throttle Controller, Catch Can, Diesel Pre Filter and Snorkel.

Exhaust

Included in this Combo is a 3" 409 Stainless Steel DPF Back Sinister Exhaust, you can choose a Side Exit option or upgrade the system to 3.5" if you prefer.

Tuning

Currently ECU Remapping the V6 Next Gen Ford Ranger is not available, so included in this Combo is a tried and trusted DP Chip to handle the tuning.

Intercooler

If you are towing a Caravan or Heavy Trailer regularly, then consider upgrading the factory Intercooler. The HPD Upgraded Intercooler has more than 200% volume and cooling surface area compared to the OE Ranger Intercooler which will keep your Intakes temps under control during heavy towing.

Transmission Cooler

Again, If you are towing a Caravan or Heavy Trailer regularly, then consider upgrading the factory Transmission Cooler. We have a couple of options here, if you are going to go with the HPD Intercooler upgrade, then the HPD Transmission Cooler makes an awesome complete solution, we also have stand alone units from Direction Plus also.

Diesel Pre-Filter

If you didn't know, the biggest killer of any Diesel Engine is water in your fuel. It can happen anywhere not just remote parts of Australia. A quality Diesel Pre Filter will add an extra line of defence for your engine by filtering our any debris as well as separate any water out of the fuel before it gets to you factory fuel system. We have a couple of options from Direction Plus and Ryco.

Oil Catch Can

You've probably heard about "Catch Cans", but what do they actually do? All modern diesel engines have a certain amount of oil blowby, which means oil vapour get pushed around the intake system. Over time the oil vapour will lead to premature failure of rubber intercooler hoses, oil pooling in the intercooler and mixes with Exhaust Gas in the intake manifold causing blockages. A Catch Can will intercept the oil vapour, collecting it rather than let it circulate. We have a few options from HPD and Direction Plus.

Throttle Controller

With this Power and Torque Combo, you will already have More Power & Torque and Better Throttle Response. So is a Throttle Controller even necessary??? Probably not, but it will give you the ability fine tune your vehicle's power delivery to suit your driving style. We have options from leading brands - Ultimate9, SAAS and Direction Plus.

Snorkel

A Snorkel is not considered a performance upgrade, but it is connected to the engine so we'll include it here as an option. The primary purpose of a snorkel is to raise the Air Intake to roof height for water crossings. The OE air intake entry point in most modern vehicles is under the fender which means if you do a water crossing that it bonnet height its highly likely your engine will ingest a gut full of water and stop. We have plastic snorkels from Safari including their Armax version as well as our own Stainless Sinister Snorkels.
